Hello! My name is Émile Veillette, and I have been a Game Designer / Level Designer since 2024.
My journey spans six years of learning to code in school which helped me get somewhat comfortable with C# on Unity and C++ on Unreal Engine. I also had fun teaching myself how to write and edit videos in my free time. Along the way, I explored audio design, 3D modeling, voice acting, and VFX. I love every step of the game development process, and my versatility speaks for itself.
I am passionate about immersive design, creating appealing and fun-looking levels, and fostering a team environment that is both enjoyable and productive.
My strength lies in defining a clear vision, sharing it with the team, and empowering every member to make it their own.
I strive for a high level of detail in my work, and I'm not afraid of criticism.
I strongly believe in the power of creativity and accessibility to deliver fun and engaging experiences to players.
I own far too many consoles, have you ever tried Gunstar Heroes on the Sega Genesis? It's pretty good.

“Working with Emile was honestly a really good time. He brought a ton of creativity, cared a lot about the player experience, and somehow always had the perfect reference, from old classics to weird little underground gems way before his time. He takes feedback super well, isn't precious about his ideas, but still knows when something is good. He's the kind of teammate who makes the project better and the room funnier. Also, he's damn good at Royal Vermin, a hardcore gamer at heart who genuinely cares about others.”
